Automatic Litter Box Deals:
I’ve put many automatic litter box models to the test, and the Litter-Robot 4 remains my favorite. Like other models, it sifts dirty litter through grates, disposing of clumps into a concealed bag below and returning clean litter to the drum. Its sensors detect and weigh the cat, and it connects to Wi-Fi, allowing you to monitor usage and program the box via Litter-Robot’s Whisker app. Through the app, you can keep an eye on litter and waste levels, track cats’ recorded weight, and review usage patterns over time. Though it’s an expensive upgrade, this complete bundle provides all the essentials you’ll need, like a mat, an odor trap, and waste bags.

For most people, I recommend the Petkit PuraMax 2. It’s more affordable (currently $150 off), user-friendly, compact, and it even emits a pleasant scent. It cleans via vertical rotation, using a grate system to separate waste from clean litter. Best of all, when it’s time to add fresh litter, the box rotates to position the filling hole on top for easier access. This box features triple odor control, a sealed waste bin, an odor eliminator attachment in the bin, and a citrusy deodorizing spray that activates after every cleaning cycle and sporadically throughout the day to keep the litter box fresh. When the cat enters, their weight is displayed on the front, and the app logs each use, including the time spent, cleaning cycle times, and deodorizing spray emissions.

This automatic litter box (8/10 WIRED Recommends) utilizes a camera and AI technology to monitor litter box usage, allowing you to examine your cat’s stool to better track their health. It features a camera on an arm in front of the opening, which swivels and follows your cat, recording activity within the box (it also has night vision). It also offers auto-bagging and sealing features, so you never have to handle the waste. The app logs and monitors usage, counting the frequency and duration of visits. With 180-degree viewing, two-way audio, and 24/7 streaming, the camera-equipped automatic litter box uses AI to identify which cat used it. Although it’s a pricey upgrade, it’s currently $200 off, the largest discount on this model this year.

If you’re seeking an economical option without sacrificing functionality, this automatic litter box is about half the price of more expensive models, yet offers a similar design. This futuristic-looking pod on legs features a rubbery bottom for litter, a weight detector that initiates the cleaning cycle a few minutes after your cat’s visit, and a slide-out tray at the bottom. Connect it to Wi-Fi to review your cat’s toilet visits in the app, displaying the time, weight, and duration of each use. Currently at $360, it’s one of the lowest prices we’ve seen this year.

For budget-conscious pet owners, this smart litter box system fits beneath your existing litter box, identifying changes in usage that may indicate health issues like UTIs or kidney disease. The app logs usage and alerts you to changes, using AI to create a profile for each cat, so you know who used it and when. Priced at under $100, it offers valuable insights without the cost of other litter boxes.

Food and Water Deals:
The Petlibro Polar Wet Food Feeder addresses nearly every issue I’ve encountered with other automatic feeders designed for wet food. Essentially, it’s a mini-fridge that ensures food remains fresh. The feeder connects to an app where you can schedule and customize feedings, while a log tracks how long a cat was at the bowl and when feeding times ended. The feeder uses thermoelectric cooling to maintain a temperature of 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
