Robot vacuum maker Narwal introduced its latest lineup of smart vacuum cleaners at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), featuring AI-powered capabilities like monitoring pets, locating lost items, and alerting users about misplaced toys.
The company showcased its new flagship Flow 2 robot vacuum, designed with a rounded shape and easy-lift tanks for improved cleaning efficiency. This device employs two 1080p RGB cameras with a 136-degree field of view to map spaces and identify different objects using advanced AI models.
Narwal has stated that this technology enables the vacuum cleaner to recognize an unlimited number of items. Initially, it attempts to identify objects locally, but if it can’t find a match, it sends the data to the cloud for further analysis.

The Flow 2 features three primary modes: pet care mode, baby care mode, and AI floor tag mode. In pet care mode, you can designate specific areas where your pets typically relax for targeted cleaning. It also allows you to keep an eye on your pets through two-way audio (though they might not always pay attention). When in baby care mode, the vacuum operates quietly near the crib and notifies you about any misplaced toys. The AI floor tag mode lets the vacuum detect valuable items like jewelry, steer clear of them, and send you alerts.
Narwal mentioned that its latest vacuum includes four cleaning modes capable of identifying various types of dirt. Additionally, the device can return to its base to clean the mop and then re-tackle an area if necessary. The Flow 2’s design allows for a higher hot water temperature during washing, enhancing its cleaning power.

Alongside the Flow 2, Narwal also presented a handheld vacuum called the U50, which weighs 1.41 kg (3.1 lbs) and features UV-C sterilization, plus heat treatment for allergen removal. The company showcased an unnamed cordless vacuum with a sleek design, 360-degree swivel, and up to 50 minutes of runtime. This cordless model also comes with an auto-empty station capable of handling dust disposal for up to 60 days.
