There’s no need for a screen, app, or internet connection; your child can simply play content by picking one of the plastic discs and placing it on top. Each disc resembles a clock face with pictures located at each hour, making it easy for kids to press the one they want. Additional sets of discs cost $22 and explore topics like dinosaurs and color recognition. The speaker delivers surprisingly good sound quality and has a 3.5-mm audio port for kids’ headphones. Timio is an excellent tool for introducing your kids to other languages or for multilingual households; just press and hold the language button to switch between English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Chinese, Italian, and Portuguese.
