On April 11, Pakistan and China announced their commitment to bolster military collaboration, particularly focusing on enhancing ties between their respective air forces. During his trip to China, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu held discussions with Chinese Defense Minister Admiral Dong Jun.

Both nations concurred on holding sophisticated shared aerial maneuvers. Such practice sessions will encompass assertive, tactically focused instruction aimed at enhancing readiness among both pilots and ground personnel for contemporary air and space combat scenarios.

Additionally, the Air Chief held meetings with prominent Chinese military leaders such as General Chang Dingqiu. These discussions culminated in the decision to establish a Joint Working Group aimed at enhancing cooperation between their respective air forces.

During his meetings with defense sector executives, the Air Chief extended an invitation to Chinese companies to participate in Pakistan’s Aerospace Science and Technology Park. Additionally, he advocated for collaborative efforts in the creation of military technologies and hardware.
