Nintendo’s New Talking Flower Game Launches in March After Alarmo

First and foremost, as the name suggests, the Talking Flower will randomly chat a couple of times every hour when left alone, saying things like “sometimes it’s nice to space out” and “is it weird for flowers to talk?” You can press a single button on the toy to trigger random thoughts whenever you like, or hold the button down to silence the Talking Flower for a bit. It even plays music, and when it launches on March 12th, it will support 11 different languages, including English, Italian, and Japanese. You can set the Talking Flower to greet you at specific times, like in the morning or saying goodnight as you head to bed, and some of its random phrases are only activated at certain times of the day. It has a built-in sensor to comment on the room temperature, and instead of relying on LEDs or a screen, the Talking Flower will simply inform you when its batteries are running low.

Surprisingly, this wasn’t the only flower-related news from Nintendo today. The company also unveiled an overview trailer for the upcoming Switch 2 update for Mario Wonder, which includes a new power-up called the “bellabel flower.” That update is set to launch on March 26th.

Update, January 22nd: Added price and links to store pages.
