During the launch of Nigeria’s first native AI software in Enugu on Sunday, Aguene remarked that AI is here to stay, emphasizing its widespread influence and revolutionary potential globally.
This software has the potential to revolutionize education with remarkable features such as fostering independent thought, conducting student evaluations, and offering personalized learning experiences customized for each learner’s speed and preferences.
He stated, “Our country must not lag behind. What we see happening now represents the initial African-originated advancement in artificial intelligence, specifically designed to reshape and revolutionize our education sector across Enugu State, Southeast region, and Nigeria as a whole. Today, we convene to introduce the Bildup AI venture, driven primarily by the mission to enable every individual, irrespective of their location, to create an impact.”
“We are happy and excited to announce this breakthrough innovation that will redefine the way students learn, practice, and succeed. What we are witnessing today is a full demonstration of the power of AI in helping students. Over the past few days, we have had students from different schools learning with the AI, interacting freely. And what is even very special about the AI that we are talking about today is its origin. It is built here in Nigeria, and this is the first of its kind.
“What is very important and interesting about this super AI is that it can think independently, assess students, understand their level of proficiency, understand their level of pace, and of course, their learning style and use that to create a personalised learning solution for them”.
He decried the one solution for all models, stating that with AI, multiple learning systems are possible.
