ICE Involved in Another Fatal Incident in Minneapolis

Posted on

Federal agents in Minneapolis brutally attacked a man, repeatedly punching him, forcing him to the ground, and then shooting him multiple times. He was later declared dead. This incident marks yet another case of deadly violence involving ICE, which has become alarmingly frequent, especially in Minneapolis. It’s been less than three weeks since an agent killed Renée Good on January 7th.

Just like the shooting of Good, video of this latest incident quickly began circulating online. I urge readers to think carefully before clicking to watch, as the footage is graphic and distressing.

According to the Minnesota Star Tribune, ICE quickly tried to manage the aftermath by taking witnesses to the Whipple building, a location that has functioned as both a base of operations and a detention center during immigration raids in Minneapolis. Additionally, ICE attempted to instruct local police to leave the scene, but Chief Brian O’Hara refused to go along with their request.
