As part of its latest offering, Sony has announced exciting new titles for June’s PlayStation Plus, highlighted by the day-one release of FBC: Firebreak. This action-packed multiplayer game from Remedy Entertainment, along with other notable entries, will be accessible for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Get Ready for FBC: Firebreak

Launching on June 17, FBC: Firebreak allows players to join forces with up to two friends in an adrenaline-fueled battle against otherworldly foes known as the Hiss. Players will assume the role of government agents tasked with defeating these extra-dimensional threats, utilizing an array of weapons enhanced by supernatural abilities.

In a preview by Engadget’s Jessica Conditt, FBC: Firebreak was described as a compelling addition to the co-op shooter genre, showcasing both engaging gameplay and a unique blend of dark humor. "Firebreak is poised to be a thoughtful and focused entry in the co-op shooter genre and already reflects Remedy’s signature mix of seriousness and whimsy," Conditt noted.

To access FBC: Firebreak and other featured titles, players will need a PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium membership.

Additional Titles Coming in June

Alongside FBC: Firebreak, June will see the arrival of several other popular games:

  • Battlefield 2042: Fans of the franchise can dive into this latest title as they prepare for the upcoming installment expected by April 2026.

  • We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie: This whimsical game invites players to indulge in the charming mechanics of rolling up a growing mass of eclectic items.

Both of these titles will also require a PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium membership for access.
