The US technology entrepreneur Elon Musk has reported the successful launch of an additional 29 Starlink satellites into Earth’s orbit.

The satellites were sent into orbit from Florida, thereby extending the reach of the Starlink network managed by SpaceX.

On Sunday, Musk shared this news through a posting on X, which was previously called Twitter.

He noted that an additional 29 Starlink satellites were incorporated into the constellation.

As per data provided by Space.com, the recent inclusion has raised the total count of Starlink satellites in orbit to 7,135 by March 28, 2025. It is also noted that out of these, approximately 7,105 are functioning correctly.

Starlink, an initiative of Elon Musk’s aerospace manufacturer SpaceX, seeks to offer global broadband internet services, particularly focusing on areas currently lacking adequate connectivity.

The latest deployment came shortly after Musk announced the activation of Starlink services in Armenia, reflecting the company’s ongoing international expansion.

Over the past few months, Musk has become increasingly involved in politics. He now acts as a special advisor to U.S. President Donald Trump, a role that has garnered considerable notice from both the public and the media.

Neither SpaceX nor the U.S. government has provided additional information regarding the recent launch, such as the precise mission goals or the configuration of the satellites involved.
