GTS is India’s premier discussion platform on geotechnology, jointly hosted by the
Carnegie India
And the Ministry of External Affairs. Featuring participants from government, business, education, and civil society, the Summit seeks to influence global discussions on technology policies, emphasizing innovation, resilience, and international collaboration. This marks the ninth iteration of the Global Technology Summit, scheduled for April 10-12, where attendees will delve into how new technologies can promote equitable development, enhance digital regulation, and foster stronger international alliances.
The theme for this year’s Summit is “Sambhavna” – meaning possibilities.
The GTS-2025 event will include more than 40 public sessions such as keynotes, ministerial dialogues, expert panel discussions, and strategic talks.
Over 150 speakers hailing from more than 40 nations such as the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, France, Germany, Netherlands, Brazil, UAE, Nigeria, the Philippines, and the European Union will participate in talks about the critical technology issues and prospects currently confronting our globe.
The sessions will cover a broad spectrum of crucial subjects–ranging from

governance, digital public systems, and
data protection
, focusing on cybersecurity, space security, and collaborative efforts in emerging technologies within the Global South.
Next year, GTS 2025 aims to elevate the voices of the upcoming generation. Via the GTS Young Ambassadors program, students and young professionals throughout India will actively participate in discussions about policies related to digital futures and responsible practices.
