Discover Jmail: The Alternative to Gmail Featuring Jeffrey Epstein’s Emails

Posted on

The recent release of over 20,000 pages of Jeffrey Epstein emails by the House Oversight Committee has sparked additional investigations into the convicted sex offender and his associates, including former Harvard president and OpenAI board member Larry Summers. In response, Luke Igel and Riley Walz have transformed these source documents into a more accessible format, creating a Gmail inbox-style interface on a website called “Jmail.”

Since the release of these files, the president has enacted the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which mandates that the Attorney General must “make publicly available in a searchable and downloadable format all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in the possession of the Department of Justice” within 30 days.

However, as CNN points out, not all remaining files are guaranteed to be released. The law allows for the withholding of information that might “jeopardize an active federal investigation or ongoing prosecution.” Yet, any material that is eventually released may quickly become available in this more user-friendly format.
