Apple announced on Tuesday that it’s launching Apple Music Replay, its response to Spotify’s popular Wrapped feature. Apple Music Replay allows users to reflect on their year in music by showcasing their top songs, artists, and albums streamed.
This year, the feature includes even more insights into listening habits, such as the “Discovery” section, which highlights new artists users have enjoyed, and “Loyalty,” which calls out the artists that users consistently return to year after year. Additionally, the “Comebacks” section highlights artists who have made a resurgence in listeners’ playlists.
Users will also see their total minutes listened on the streaming service, the number of artists they tuned into, their longest streak with a particular artist, favorite genres, and more.
The Apple Music Replay dashboard can be found under the Home tab in the music streaming service.
Beyond the annual Replay, users can revisit their monthly highlights and view yearly summaries from each year they’ve been subscribed to Apple Music. They can also listen to their “Replay All Time” playlist, which features the songs they’ve played the most since joining the service.
As for artists, they will gain access to fresh metrics, such as listenership growth and year-over-year performance summaries. Like in previous years, they’ll also see data on total listeners, countries, cities, and minutes.
Apple also shared that the top song of 2025 on Apple Music is “APT” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars. Following close behind are Kendrick Lamar and SZA with “luther” in second place, and Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars with “Die With A Smile” in third. Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” secured fourth place, while Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” took fifth.
Apple Music’s Replay arrives just a week after YouTube launched its 2025 Recaps, and on the same day that Amazon Music unveiled its annual recaps. These year-end features are coinciding with Spotify’s offerings—likely aiming to capitalize on social media sharing related to music.
