“Fuck ICE first, second, third, and fourth. Then worry about fucking me,” a post on Reddit states. “Immigrants of any status are my friends, neighbors, and colleagues.” This sentiment resonates across social media and in protests, especially after a federal immigration agent shot and killed 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti in Minneapolis last Saturday. This incident occurred just weeks after another agent fatally shot Renee Good, who was labeled a “domestic terrorist” without evidence by federal officials. The message in this Reddit post is finding a home in various online communities, from r/Military to cat-themed subreddits, and even on an adult forum.
r/MassiveCock, a subreddit mainly for sharing photos of users’ penises, had previously been apolitical—a place for individuals to sext or promote their OnlyFans accounts. Over the weekend, however, a wave of anti-ICE posts began appearing alongside the usual content. One post declared, “How hard I get when I think about abolishing ICE,” paired with a photo for emphasis. Another post graphically stated, “Sorry, I was just thinking about ICE agents rotting behind bars for the rest of their lives.”
A user named tomatoe1987 shared one of the “Fuck ICE” messages and saw it become one of the top posts over the weekend. Preferring to stay anonymous, he explained that he uses adult subreddits mainly to connect with people and share content, describing himself as moderately politically active—he votes and has attended some rallies but doesn’t identify as an activist. His only social media presence is on Reddit.
“ICE events have been having a devastating effect on my community, friends, and colleagues,” he said. Reflecting on his actions, he admitted, “I find what I did to be a little (very) silly. There’s certainly a large element of what I did that was just to vent frustration in the only public way I could.”
By Monday, there were several dozen “Fuck ICE” posts in the subreddit, some garnering hundreds of comments. Many users supported his anti-ICE stance, while others lamented, “Why bring politics into sex?”
In response to criticism, he noted, “Someone said to me that nothing in life should feel ‘normal’ when these sorts of things are happening in our country. Even porn and sex. All of it should make supporters of unchecked political violence and fascism uncomfortable.” He also emphasized that just because he participates in “dominant, physically imposing styled subreddits” doesn’t mean he lacks empathy.
“I hope at least a few people that pay attention to me see that you can be ‘manly’ and still have compassion for fellow human beings,” he said.
Politics and sex have long been intertwined, and adult content is facing increasing scrutiny; age verification laws criticized for being ineffective at protecting minors are also raising concerns about free speech and privacy. In the UK, Reddit requires users to verify their age with a selfie or ID photo before accessing certain mature content, though some have found ways to bypass this.
The conversation around ICE is expanding into other adult subreddits as well. A moderator of r/RandomActsofBlowJob announced that “Fuck ICE” is the subreddit’s official stance regarding ongoing immigration enforcement issues. Similar conversations have emerged in other spaces, including questions about the ethics of maintaining specific adult-themed subreddits amid heightened state repression.
As for tomatoe1987, he’s uncertain whether the anti-ICE sentiment will persist in r/MassiveCock. For now, he sees it as “a little bit of day-to-day hope,” a way to remind people that many are concerned about their safety and well-being.
