Anker’s Powerful Laptop Power Bank Drops Back to Black Friday Price

As expected, things have been pretty quiet on the deals front since Black Friday, especially regarding discounts on charging accessories. Fortunately, Anker’s aptly named Laptop Power Bank is available again at Amazon and Walmart for $87.99, which is $47 off and matches the record-low price we saw at the end of November.

If you’ve been keeping up, you probably know that Anker produces a massive range of charging accessories. The portable A1695 “InstaCord” has quickly become a favorite among Verge staffers, mainly because it features a retractable USB-C cable and an additional one that also serves as a handle. Both cables are bidirectional and support passthrough charging. This 25,000mAh / 90Wh power bank has a USB-A port and another USB-C port, allowing you to charge your phone, a MacBook Pro, and up to two other devices all at once.

In terms of output, Anker’s 600-gram Laptop Power Bank can provide up to 165W when two devices are connected, or up to 130W when charging three or four gadgets. It’s also carry-on compliant, so you won’t have any issues getting it through TSA while traveling, unlike chargers that exceed the agency’s 100 watt-hours limit for carry-on devices. Plus, it has a built-in LCD display that lets you easily view the remaining charge, overall power output, battery temperature, and other important info at a glance.
