Mumbai (Maharashtra), India, April 9: The 13th International Research Conference, co-hosted by the Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research (AIMSR) and the Aditya School of Business Management (ASBM) on March 29, 2025, effectively gathered industry experts, academics, and research scholars to explore the disruptive potential of various topics.

The conference titled “AI-Powered Shift towards Sustainability and Corporate Overhaul” took place in collaboration with ICIB—the International Partner—alongside Leaders Institute from SSM Switzerland and ENAE Business School as Knowledge Partners. This gathering offered an interactive stage for exploring how artificial intelligence can shape business ethics, enhance economic stability, and tackle environmental challenges, all while encouraging synergy among educational institutions and businesses.

The conference began with an inaugural session that included the national anthem, Ganesh Vandana, and a lamp lighting ceremony. Dr. Balkrishna Parab, Dean of Management Studies at AIMSR and AGI, gave the welcome address, after which he honored the chief guest, Dr. Smita Shukla (Director of IQAC at the University of Mumbai and Director of Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial & Management Studies).
The keynote address was presented by Mahendra Kumar Chouhan, an esteemed professor at the Indian Institute of Management in Mumbai (IIM-M). Boasting more than four decades of expertise in corporate governance, sustainability, and environmental, social, and governance issues (ESG), Mr. Chouhan highlighted the importance of ethically driven business practices through artificial intelligence and sustainable advancements.
Moreover, Dr. J.K. Sachdeva (the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Global Economy) and Dr. Rajan Tungare (formerly the Director at the Late Narayan Meghaji Lokhande Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies under the Government of Maharashtra) presided over research sessions, steering conversations about AI’s influence across various industries.

The conference witnessed participation from over 150 academicians, industry professionals, and students, with more than 70 research papers presented across parallel tracks, including General Management,

(HRM), Operations, and Systems. Selected research papers will be published in AIMSR’s ISSN-indexed journal, “Shodhaditya,” further contributing to ongoing research in AI and business transformation.
The six top research papers were honored—three authored by students and three by faculty members and research scholars—for their significant achievements.
