“Towards significant progress in advancing the

) signed memoranda of understanding (
MoUs
on April 25, 2025, alongside eight forward-thinking organizations

,” according to a statement from the Ministry of Electronics and IT.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, attended by the distinguished S Krishnan, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), heralds a new era of strategic partnerships.

The entities that have signed the Memorandums of Understanding include the Semiconductor Laboratory (SCL), ERNET India, the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Skyroot Aerospace, the Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR), and Kyndryl India,” stated the announcement.

These collaborations aim to boost education, skill development, research, and innovation within the domains of Electronics and Information Technology. They cover a range of activities including joint research initiatives, curriculum design, capacity enhancement, training sessions, skill-building programs, as well as backing for new technologies and innovative ventures.

On this occasion, S Krishnan, Secretary of MeitY, emphasized the importance of such collaborations, noting, “This represents a strategic alignment between academia, industries, and governmental bodies aimed at nurturing a strong digital environment and cultivating a skilled workforce for tomorrow. Such cooperative initiatives are crucial for building a technologically adept community and sustaining a vibrant knowledge-based economy.”

He also expressed his appreciation for the leadership of Dr. M.M. Tripathi, who serves as the Director General.
