New Delhi [India], April 18 (ANI): On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke over the phone with Tesla CEO Elon Musk and explored the significant opportunities for cooperation between their respective countries in areas related to technology and innovation.
Prime Minister Modi stated India’s dedication to strengthening partnerships between India and the United States across several sectors. He mentioned that they discussed multiple subjects, including those addressed during their previous meeting in the US back in February of this year.
On X, Prime Minister Modi posted, “I had a conversation with @elonmusk where we addressed several matters, echoing those from our previous discussion held in Washington D.C. earlier this year. Our dialogue encompassed the significant prospects for cooperation within fields like technology and innovation. India continues to uphold its dedication towards strengthening alliances with the U.S. in such sectors.”
In early February, Elon Musk met with Prime Minister Modi at Blair House in Washington, D.C. The discussions during their meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between Indian and American organizations in areas such as innovation, space exploration, artificial intelligence, and sustainability efforts.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Elon Musk discussed ways to enhance collaboration in cutting-edge technology, startup initiatives, and effective governance. Leading the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk was joined by three of his offspring during their conversation.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated in an official release, “During their conversation, the Prime Minister and Mr. Musk explored ways to enhance partnership among innovators, space agencies, AI experts, and sustainability advocates from India and the United States. They also talked about expanding joint efforts in cutting-edge technology sectors, fostering entrepreneurial ventures, and promoting effective administration.”
PM Modi used X to share information about his discussion with Musk. Posting on X, PM Modi mentioned, “I had an excellent meeting with @elonmusk in Washington D.C. Our conversation covered several topics, particularly focusing on areas of interest for him like space exploration, transportation solutions, technological advancements, and innovation. Additionally, I spoke about India’s progress toward reforms and our commitment to ‘Less Government, More Governance’.”
At the gathering, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had an encounter with Elon Musk’s offspring, who were in attendance at the event. On X, PM Modi shared, “I was delighted to connect with Mr. @elonmusk’s kin and engage in discussions covering numerous topics!” (ANI)
