Valve has revealed the winners of the 2025 Steam Awards, and it’s no shocker that Hollow Knight: Silksong snagged the Game of the Year title. It also took home the award for “Best Game You Suck At,” which is a bit of a head-scratcher. Since its release in September, Silksong has received so much acclaim that its Game of the Year win seemed inevitable.
Hades II was named Best Game on Steam Deck—an honor we had unofficially bestowed on it already. The gameplay mechanics of Hades make it perfect for quick sessions, and the graphics adapt well to the device. Silent Hill f won the Outstanding Visual Style award, and while it’s undeniably beautiful, I can’t help but feel that Dream BBQ, with its uniquely trippy visuals, deserved more recognition.
