ServiceNow Acquires Cybersecurity Startup Armis for $7.75 Billion

Enterprise software company ServiceNow has reached an agreement to acquire Armis, a nine-year-old cybersecurity startup, for $7.75 billion in cash.

This acquisition marks a significant jump in valuation for Armis. Just last month, the company secured $435 million in pre-IPO funding, bringing its valuation to $6.1 billion.

Armis co-founder and CEO Yevgeny Dibrov shared with TechCrunch last month that the company aims to go public between late 2026 and 2027, describing an IPO as his “personal dream.”

Given the volatility of IPO markets and the limited number of cybersecurity firms that actually go public, it’s not surprising that Armis opted for a merger and acquisition exit instead.

ServiceNow reports that Armis has achieved $340 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), with a year-over-year growth rate exceeding 50%.

Armis delivers security software for critical infrastructure to Fortune 500 companies and various government entities, which will enhance ServiceNow’s cybersecurity offerings.

This acquisition adds to a busy year for ServiceNow, which has also acquired Moveworks for $2.85 billion and has agreed to purchase the cybersecurity startup Veza for $1 billion.

According to PitchBook, Armis has raised a total of $1.45 billion in venture capital from investors including Sequoia, CapitalG, and Insight Partners.
